The Detroit home that Madonna lived in as a child has been destroyed by fire.

Police believe the fire, which is being treated as a suspected arson attack, began in the living room and quickly spread through the property.

According to the BBC, a passer-by spotted the fire at the two-storey house – which wasn’t occupied – on Friday.

Madonna briefly lived in the property in Rochester Hills when she was a child along with her five siblings.

New “Sticky & Sweet” Tour dates announced,

It is now confirmed that Madonna’s ‘Sticky & Sweet Tour’ will stop in Vienna on September 23, Athens on September 27 and Mexico City on November 29 and 30th.

Several sellers on eBay have begun selling passes to the Aug. 2 screening of the Material Girl’s new film, “I Am Because We Are.”

As of this morning, two tickets to “the most sought after event of the year” were going for $3,625, while another pair was going for $3,550.

And yes, people are bidding at those prices.

Six bids in another auction drove up the price to $1,825 on another pair. “This is such a great opportunity for any fan to not only see this movie with Madonna herself, but there is also an opportunity to ask questions and even meet her,” writes the seller from Sterling Heights.

The theater seats about 540 people.

Simon Spotlight Entertainment, an S&S imprint, had been promoting a mysterious “celebrity memoir” without identifying the author or subject. No details on how much little brother will make on the reported tell-all. The book will have a first printing of 350,000.

The 47-year-old Ciccone has worked with Madonna before, most notably as artistic director on her 1991 documentary, “Madonna: Truth or Dare,” but the two are not close these days, according to Madonna’s spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg, who told the AP: ‘‘Madonna has not cooperated with any biography about herself.’’

Media reports had suggested the singer was preparing for a multi-million dollar legal battle by taking on British attorney Nicholas Mostyn QC, the barrister who represented Heather Mills in her divorce from Sir Paul McCartney earlier this year.

The couple has been plagued by rumors of a split all year, but they have consistently denied their eight-year marriage is in troubled.

And now Madonna’s representative has hit out at the new rumors, telling British publication the London Paper the stories are “completely untrue.”

She has repeatedly tried her hand at acting since launching her singing career in the 1980s, playing lead roles in films such as “Desperately Seeking Susan,” “Dick Tracy” and “Evita,” for which she won a Best Actress Golden Globe in 1997.

But since directing the upcoming comedy “Filth and Vision,” she insists she has found her calling.

When asked if she still dreams of an acting career, she responds: “Absolutely not, because now I’ve tasted directing. It’s like Eve and the apple, I have to have a second bite. If you’re an actress, it’s not your vision.

“The director tells the story, you are the chess piece that is moved around. That doesn’t suit my personality.”

Madonna is so fond of filmmaking, she insists she even prefers it to making music: “You have more time to tell a story. You have an hour and a half or two to save the world.”

Madonna has said that her film would focus on children and would provide a second chance for her to collaborate with director Nathan Rissman, who once served as the singer’s gardener and as her children’s nanny.

At the Cannes Film Festival, the pair spoke about and promoted “I Am Because We Are,” a documentary that Madonna wrote and Rissman directed. The film is about the more than 1 million children orphaned in Malawi because of AIDS. The singer adopted an infant from the country in 2006.

That’s all well and good, but Israelis who are certainly accustomed to hearing foreign celebrities’ vague proposals for projects involving their country have other pressing concerns, such as whether she will stop in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem on her upcoming concert tour.

Madonna visited Israel last year as part of a High Holy Days pilgrimage with The Kabbalah Center.

She also visited Israel in 2004, and last performed a concert in the country in 1993.

Madonna is to hold a concert in the town of Budva, on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast, though the date is not certain yet, national media reported today.

Reports say that Madonna´s concert in Budva will be a part of her global tour celebrating her 50th birthday. While the Podgorica newspaper Dan reported that the show is expected to take place on September 23 or 25, other media – such as the Montenegro Times, said it will be in late August or early September.

The dates of the Sticky & Sweet Tour currently posted do not include any stops in the Balkans. Starting in Cardiff in August, the tour is scheduled to pass through some Western European cities before continuing on to North America and ending in Miami in November.

Nevertheless, Svetozar Marović, the deputy head of Montenegro’s Democratic Party of Socialists, claimed the contract for the concert was to be signed soon, according to Dan.

Madonna’s concert would be the first time the singer performs in a Balkans country.
