Madonna highest earning woman in music
Madonna has been named the highest-earning woman in music. The Material Girl, 49, tops the first-ever Forbes magazine Cash Queens of Music list, banking a massive $72 million USD between June 2006 and June 2007. Most of that money was earned from her landmark Confessions tour, the highest-grossing tour for a female artist, earning $260 million worldwide. Madonna also enjoyed income from record sales, her deal with high street fashion retailer H & M and payment from NBC for rights to broadcast her concert performance at London’s Wembley Stadium, Forbes reported. Barbra Streisand, 65 is the list’s oldest member, and landed the second place in the list, mainly thanks to her comeback tour, her first since she announced her retirement in 2000. In third place is Celine Dion, 39, who banked $45 million, largely from her hugely successful A New Day concert series at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Madonna works it out

London: Madonna is very dedicated to her fitness regimen. It seems we always see her on the way to or coming from a workout. Just looking at her cut arms and flat stomach tells us whatever she is doing is working for her. And now we will put down the burrito and get to the gym.

Madonna´s new home gym
Madonna has come up with a novel plan for her latest £12 million property purchase - she’s turning it into a big gym.
Madonna and her film-director husband splashed out on a ten bedroom Georgian house next to their London home last June, in order to knock through the properties to give them a new mega-house.
Tragically, planning permission for the project has been denied, so Madonna is instead now going to turn the property into her own personal fitness centre.
The fact the singer’s current fitness sessions in St John’s Wood have become increasingly mobbed by fans has prompted Madonna’s desire for a little privacy - even if it costs her over ten million quid.

Timberlake, Timbaland and Madonna
Justin Timberlake and Timbaland are off to London to appear in Madonna’s new video for the song “4 Minutes to Save the World.” The two cowrote and coproduced the track, which is the first single off her forthcoming album (the last full LP she’ll release for Warner Bros.), due out this April. Queen M also recently shot the cover art for the album (believed to be titled Give It To Me) with renowned fashion photographer and frequent collaborator Steven Klein. As fans clamor for a glimpse at the superstar’s latest reinvention, details are starting to emerge about her new look and sound. Madonna’s stylist, B. (yes, she just goes by the initial), told Women’s Wear Daily at Chanel’s couture show on Tuesday that “Madonna’s look is going to be more edgy, more fresh — no more disco.” And Warner Bros. staffers who heard the record at a listening session last month describe it as “very now.” Says an insider: “For the first time, [Madonna's] not chasing the next new sound. She’s embracing what’s happening today.”
