Craftsman Jonathan Tebbs has got “in bed with Madonna” in a magical deal.

The brass bed restorer hit the high notes with The Queen of Pop, who polished off the purchase in person.

Jonathan, who owns A Barn Full of Brass Beds at Conisholme, near Louth took the bed personally to Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie’s central London home.

He is reserved about the details of his visit because he has so much respect for Madonna.

Jonathan (44) said: “I was honoured to undertake such a task for The Queen of Pop. It was an amazing experience meeting her. It was at first a feeling of surprise. It was a pleasure to meet her.

“A bed is such a personal thing and I was pleased to supply precisely what she wanted.”

He said there was tight security at the couple’s plush home.

Jonathan is no stranger to meeting the demands of celebrities, having supplied the cast of the Harry Potter films with beds for their dormitory at Hogwarts, as reported.

Madonna’s daughter Lourdes is a devoted fan of the series of movies.

The teenager, who is nicknamed Lola, was tipped to join the cast last year.

Jonathan and his wife Naomi (34) visited the set of Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix when he supplied moviemakers with a second set of authentic, beautifully restored brass beds.

As a supplier for blockbuster film sets, Jonathan is hoping his latest celebrity encounter with Madonna might tempt her director husband, Guy Ritchie to continue the genre of using brass beds in his gangster movies and maybe turn the old bed rust into romance.

He said: “I hope Guy Ritchie can use them as well as Harry Potter.”

Jonathan’s firm specialises in the restoration of original Victorian and Edwardian antique brass beds.

Today it appears Madonna’s worked out extra hard, spurred on by the presence of her best pal turned training buddy Gwyneth Paltrow.

The actress, who has just returned from a visit to New York, joined health fanatic Madonna a morning workout at the pop star’s £6million personal gym, which is just 20 yards from her front door.

They were also joined by Madonna’s pint-sized personal trainer and constant gym companion Tracy Anderson, who is no stranger to the Hollywood mother of two.

It was, after all, Gwyneth who found her first.

After giving birth to baby Moses in 2006, the health-conscious actress was confronted with a weight gain of more than 2 1/2st.

Following a strict diet, the star managed to shift half of it within several weeks, but that last stone proved to be impossible; and for months she resorted to wearing two Spanx girdles at a time.

With the start date for her film, Iron Man, fast approaching, Gwyneth made a last-ditch attempt to get her body into shape, and called on Tracy.

The 35-year-old noticed results immediately and now appears, even after two children, to have the best body she’s ever had.

Tracy has now been working with Madonna, who turns 50 in August, six days a week for the past year.

Madonna and Gwyneth share more than just a desire to be in great shape - earlier this year Gwyneth began exploring Kabbalah, the branch of Jewish mysticism the singer follows.

Gwyneth, who last week denied her marriage to Coldplay star Chris Martin is in trouble, was spotted leaving a New York Kabbalah Centre earlier this year.

A source told Mail Online at the time: “She’s a seeker, and with Madonna’s encouragement, she’s now looking into Kabballah - she’s simply on a personal quest.”

In celebration of the release of Madonna’s upcoming CD ‘HARD CANDY,’ Control Room, MSN and Verizon Wireless will present the one and only Madonna live at New York’s famed Roseland Ballroom on Wednesday evening, April 30th, it was confirmed today by Warner Bros. Records. The Control Room-produced show will be available live on MSN Music In Concert (www.music.msn.com) on April 30th in the US and on May 15th ex-US.

Verizon customers will be amongst the handful of lucky winners who will attend the show. Other lucky fans will need to line up outside of Roseland to receive tickets on a first come basis. This special event will be the first time Madonna will debut songs from her hotly anticipated new album ‘HARD CANDY’ which is scheduled to arrive in stores on April 29th.

The first single from the album, ‘4 Minutes’ has already jumped to the Number One spot in many countries. The song, which features Madonna, Timbaland and Justin Timberlake was produced by Justin Timberlake and Timbaland.

Although she’ll be turning 50 years old later this year, Madonna is still on the cutting edge of fashionable trends.

The Material Girl was spotted on her way from her London house to her private gym, just next door, and she knows how to make fitness fashionable.

Madge sported a blue screen-printed v-neck longsleeve shirt overtop a white t-shirt with matching Adidas track pants and a pair of Adidas running shoes, along with a hobo-style knit cap and sunglasses.

Later this month, Madonna is scheduled to appear in Malawian court before a judge who will decide whether or not she will be permitted to adopt two-year-old David Banda. Apparently Malawian activists are pushing for a change in legislature to prevent foreign adoptions. We’ll keep you updated.

Madonna and child are one step closer to formalizing their bond.

A Malawi court clerk has confirmed that the final ruling in her and Guy Ritchie’s adoption proceedings of son David Banda will take place in two weeks’ time.

A court clerk told Reuters that the case was “tentatively” scheduled to be heard on April 22, 23 and 25.

The hearing, which Madonna is not required to attend, was postponed from this week by request of the pop star, who had a scheduling conflict in the U.S., likely connected to promotion of her new album, Hard Candy.

Things are looking good for the superstar couple, who first picked up 2-year-old David from a Malawi orphanage back in October 2006.

On March 25, a report filed by a probation officer at the Ministry of Women and Child Development gave its blessing to Malawi’s High Court to grant final approval for the Richies to take permanent custody of the boy, citing the bang-up parenting job the London-based couple had done over the past year and a half.

Madonna is set to buy a third New York apartment.
The ‘4 Minutes’ singer will splash out $7 million on the property overlooking Central Park, after settling her dispute with the board who own the building.
Last December, Madonna sued the board claiming it had wrongfully blocked her from extending her property.
Last year, Madonna splashed out $12 million on her sixth London home.
The 49-year-old star snapped up the 10-bedroom Georgian townhouse in Marylebone last June.
It was claimed Madonna - who lives in the eight-bedroom house next door with husband Guy Ritchie and children Lourdes, 11, seven-year-old Rocco and adopted two-year-old David - could link the two properties to make one huge home.
As well as their six London and three New York properties, Madonna and Guy also own the 1,200-acre Ashcombe Estate in Wiltshire and a £8 million Beverly Hills mansion.

Madonna doesn’t do anything by halves so the bling ‘M’Dolla’ ring she wore for her latest video was created by one of the world’s top jewellers.

The singer asked Chopard to design the diamond knuckle ring she wears in the Hard Candy video.

The company’s co-president Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele designed the ring, which spells out “M-dolla” in 258 brilliant cut white diamonds with a Chopard signature mobile diamond in the flourish of the letter M, reports wwd.
Madonna also worked with the Chopard in 2005 when the jeweller and watchmaker created the pavé diamond “Hung-Up” necklace she wore onstage for her Confessions on a Dance Floor tour.
